About Josh

Joshua James Walker human-centred nutrition support.

UKVRN Registered Associate Nutritionist · Reg. No. 38728

Many people already know what they "should" be doing. The difficult part is applying healthier habits consistently while balancing stress, emotions, routines, work, energy levels, relationships and everyday life.

My approach combines evidence-based nutrition, behaviour change support and practical real-life problem solving to help people build healthier systems that feel realistic and sustainable.

Josh, founder of Samsara Surfer.

About Josh

A personalised and adaptable approach.

I work to understand both the bigger picture and the smaller details influencing someone's health. Rather than forcing people into rigid systems, support is adapted around the individual.

The goal is helping people build healthier ways of living that feel more natural, maintainable and aligned with their real life.

This includes adapting around:

What to expect

What working together actually looks like.

Starting support can feel intimidating. Many people worry they will be judged, expected to become "perfect" overnight, given unrealistic plans, or pressured into strict routines.

That is not the goal.

Samsara Surfer focuses on building realistic progress in ways that feel supportive and sustainable.

The first session

The first session focuses on understanding you.

The first session is about exploring:

  • Your goals
  • Your routines
  • Your lifestyle
  • Your challenges
  • Your stress levels
  • Your eating patterns
  • Your energy levels
  • Your environment
  • Your priorities
  • What has and has not worked previously

There is no expectation to be perfect. The aim is understanding the bigger picture so that support can be adapted around your actual life.
