About Joshua James Walker
Evidence-based nutrition support with a human-centred approach.
Many people already know what they “should” be doing. The difficult part is applying healthier habits consistently while balancing stress, emotions, routines, work, energy levels, relationships and everyday life.
My approach combines evidence-based nutrition, behaviour change support and practical real-life problem solving to help people build healthier systems that feel realistic and sustainable.

How I work
Working alongside people, not above them.

Real-world experience
Real-World Experience Supporting Sustainable Behaviour Change.
- Delivered behaviour change interventions across programmes reaching 1,500–2,500+ participants
- Supported remission-focused outcomes and clinically significant weight loss through long-term behaviour change support
- Guided individuals in building more sustainable routines around food, stress, sleep and daily habits
- Supported people experiencing emotional eating, overwhelm and repeated cycles of “starting over”
- Developed neurodivergent-friendly coaching approaches adapted around complex real-life barriers
- Facilitated group workshops and behaviour change education across diverse populations and settings
Real-world behaviour change is rarely about knowledge alone. Experience includes supporting participants through NHS prevention and remission programmes, clinically significant weight loss, group coaching and sustainable long-term lifestyle change.
What to expect
How support is adapted around you.
Starting support can feel overwhelming — especially if previous approaches have felt rigid, unrealistic or difficult to maintain long term.
The aim is to identify the best-fitting systems to structurally support lasting change, so it can hold up the goal and take pressure off you to maintain healthy living alone.
The first session
Focuses on understanding you.
The first session is about exploring:
- Your goals
- Your routines
- Your lifestyle
- Your challenges
- Your stress levels
- Your eating patterns
- Your energy levels
- Your environment
- Your priorities
- What has and has not worked previously
Sessions focus on understanding the bigger picture so that healthier routines can feel more manageable, realistic and sustainable in everyday life.
The arc of the work
Three phases. No rush between them.
Understand The Bigger Picture
We explore the habits, stressors, routines, lifestyle factors and patterns influencing your health.
Build Sustainable Strategies
Support is adapted around your real life, preferences, routines and challenges.
Create Long-Term Change
The focus is on building healthier habits that feel sustainable — not short-term extremes.
What we don't do
No shame. No diet culture. No hustle-energy wellness.
You won't be handed a rigid meal plan to fail at, told to “just try harder”, or asked to become someone else. The work is about understanding the patterns already shaping your life — and gently changing the ones that no longer serve you.
The whole picture
Health doesn't happen in isolation.
